Because of the changes to the academic calendar, a hot topics of the latest months has been how to update the midterm exams, in order to reframe them in a more effective way that still complies the new general guidelines.

More specifically, the rector and the deans of the schools have thought that, because of the storter half-semester break, a reduction in the number of mid-term exams is needed and there have to be no more than two for semester.
The rector thinks that, this way, the students will be able to manage more effectively their study time, by focusing on the exams the course of study suggests.
