But what is the history of the Patio?
Way back in 2008 Svoltastudenti demanded and obtained the H24 opening of Building 11 and the Patio. A space at the Poli that allows the university to be a community and a university experience in a city that, especially economically, often is not.
What happened and why a call-to-action?
During the winter term, the security that controls access to the building failed, as a result, the AUIC (Architettura Urbanistica Ingegneria delle Costruzioni) School Board called into question the H24 opening of this space.

Svoltastudenti disagrees withe the AUIC School Board. The opening of the space represents a 360° university idea that embraces the needs of all students. Calling into question a public space for lack of staff is not and will not be the solution.
