May is full of news about the Right to Study and the residences.

There will be some changes following the evolving needs and conditions of the last years.

We provide hereafter, in detail, all the informations.

Two changes were made about the Right to Study:

• Starting next year the scolarship for who enrolls in the second semester at the master's degree will cover half of the amount of the annual scolarship and will be required to sustain 17 CFU.
• International students will have to show their lease for residential use too.

Furthermore from next year there will be reserved accomodations in the following residences:

• Casa dello Studente “Leonardo Da Vinci” (with 66 out of 333 accommodations at a discounted rate)

• Residenza “Galileo Galilei” (with 284 out of 284 accommodations at a discounted rate)

• Residenza “Vilfredo Pareto” (with 139 out of 232 accommodations at a discounted rate)

• Residenza "Isaac Newton" (with 155 out of 258 accommodations at a discounted rate)

• Residenza "Dateo" (with 50 out of 90 accommodations at a discounted rate)

• Residenza "Albert Einstein" (with 128 accommodations at a discounted rate)

• Residenza "La Presentazione" di Como (with 99 accommodations at a discounted rate)

• Residenza "Adolf Loos" di Lecco (with 120 accommodations at a discounted rate)

• Residenza "Aspef" di Mantova e Collegio "Morigi" di Piacenza (each one with 2 accommodations at a discounted rate)

Any changes compared to previous years have been made to comply with contracts with managers and the law 338/2000. Finally, it was decided not to renew some expiring contracts, those of the Gauss and Martinitt residences.

The timing of the rankings for the right to study has also been reduced: you will have 48 hours to confirm your place in residence and you will receive an email and a phone call to be informed of the opening of the rankings, as well as previous emails to remember this deadline . This will allow the slippage of the rankings to be completed by the end of September.

We hope that these improvements will facilitate the access and life of the students, thanks to the opening of two new residences (Pareto and Einstein) and the allocation of accommodation places by the end of September.

We are available for more information or requests.
